Hiring: Architectural / Interior Designer / Draughtsman (Diploma) — Advanced Furniture & Interior Fit-Out


Location: Vasai (Near Station)
Industry: Advanced Furniture & Interior Fit-out / Manufacturing
Salary: Up to ₹30,000 per month (depending on experience)
Education: Diploma in Architecture / Interior Design / Civil / Relevant Trade (required)
Sotware: AutoCAD
Experience: Experienced candidates preferred (strong portfolio). Freshers with excellent portfolios are welcome.
Shift / Overtime: Candidate must be ready to work overtime or night shifts if required.


Job Summary

We are seeking a practical, production-oriented Architectural / Interior Designer (Diploma) to join a busy furniture & fit-out manufacturing unit. The role blends architectural design and shop-floor coordination — converting concepts and client requirements into manufacturing-ready drawings and working closely with production teams to ensure timely, high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural & interior design drawings and layouts adapted for production.

• Create detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and cutting plans for production teams.

• He or She should be able to make 2D and 3D as per client's requirements.

• Convert design concepts into production-ready drawings (AutoCAD / SketchUp / Revit as applicable).

• Should be able to render the design as per requirement.

• Prepare & update BOQ / material lists and coordinate material specifications with procurement.

• Liaise between design, production (workshop) and site teams to ensure feasibility and timely delivery.

• Conduct site visits and measurement checks when required.

• Coordinate finishes, fittings, hardware, and fixtures selection suitable for manufacturing.

• Review prototypes and samples; provide feedback to PD/production for corrections.

Skills & Software

• Diploma in Architecture / Interior / Civil / related trade (required).

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (essential).

• Familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D tools is a plus.

• Good understanding of shop drawings, fabrication details, joinery, and manufacturing constraints.

• Ability to prepare simple BOQs and material lists.

• Good MS Office skills (Excel / Word / PowerPoint).

• Strong visualization, attention to detail and practical problem solving.

• Good communication skills — able to coordinate with production staff and vendors.


Who Should Apply

• Fresh diploma graduates with strong portfolios or internship experience are encouraged to apply.

• Candidates willing to work closely with factory teams and occasionally attend site visits.
